Coldfusion Verity Collections Locking Files

I had a problem the last few days with integrating SVN on Windows Server web edition, I wanted to rename folders on inetpub\wwwroot and I was told access was denied even though I was logged in as the administrator for the server.  I run Mango Blog on the server and the verity collections created by this software seemed to be created by a different user but I could not take over permissions and was faced with “unable to set new owner” as an error message. Digging deeper I managed to find that the coldfusion verity server was holding on to these files and simply locking them. The secret was to end the “k2server.exe” process. I hope this helps somebody else out there who is also tearing their hair out!
